Master Class event for CG screen Artists | CG Futures Melbourne 2018

[ #CGEvent #vfx #MotionGraphics #zbrush #game #Films #news ] The speaker line-up for CG Futures Melbourne, 2018, is specially curated for live demos, CG masterclasses and networking opportunities. Taking place in Melbourne from March 2nd- 4th, the event will give local artists a rare chance to meet industry legends like Seth Thompson, Art Director at Blizzard Animation, and ZBrush Summit’s 3 time Sculpt Off Champion, Furio Tedeschi. Australia’s leading studios will be taking us behind the scenes of some of their award winning work for Hollywood blockbusters, successful games, television content and new media.

CG Futures is the evolution of Gnomon Live, first held in Melbourne in 2015. With curatorial support from Alex Alvarez of Gnomon we continue to build this special event for digital artists of our region. Providing a chance to learn tips and techniques from expert practitioners, share development time with peers and build networks for collaboration and potential employment. This year’s event will again give attendees a chance to see industry techniques first hand, as artists share their experiences working on feature films, AAA and mobile games, commercials, and VR and AR experiences. Kristin McCourtie, Director of the Ideas on Design programs has been presenting events forover 20 years and remains a keen advocate for the live mentor model for professional development.
