Parachute Helps City Harvest Feed NYC’s Hungry with Animated Film

[ #cganimation #vfx #advert #news #Animation #shortfilm ] NYC-based VFX company Parachute is back again after their awesome projects with The Sandpit and Tesla - Fireflies, Parachute is at it again, highlighting a host of nutritious culinary goods for a good cause in a vivid, new animated spot that promotes hometown food rescue and distribution nonprofit, City Harvest.

Working in partnership with digital innovation agency Makeable, Parachute bucks the bleak and disheartening tone of most philanthropic and hunger-fighting campaigns with an optimistic, inspirational look at how everyone can help City Harvest feed the hungry.

According to Parachute VFX Producer Nicole Melius, the City Harvest project continues Parachute’s commitment to green initiatives and donating work and served as a rewarding, highly collaborative experience. It’s a departure from typical work in this category – one that’s about the solution and not about the problem.
