The Rookies announce 2017 Rankings for Best Creative Media Schools in the World

[ #TheRookies #Award #CGStudentAwards #Feature #news ]The Rookies is an annual awards and mentor platform which was established with the goal of showcasing amazing creative talents emerging from educational facilities around the world in film, animation, games, virtual reality, motion graphics and 3d visualisation.

On September 26th, The Rookies announced the “Global Rankings Report: Best Creative Media & Entertainment Schools in the World 2017” which was put together with the help of Oscar-winning judges – like Joe Letteri from Weta Digital – and 60 more equally influential industry veterans from around the world. The report was based on a methodology that assessed the quality and performance of student works who entered the mentor and awards platform – The Rookies. The ranking cuts across five categories including, Best Animation Schools; Best Digital Illustration Schools; Motion Graphics Schools; Game Design & Development Schools and Visual Effects Schools.

At a time when studios report a lack of skilled students applying for entry-level roles, Alwyn Hunt, co-founder of The Rookies, reveals that this ranking would help to guide students from across the world who often require guidance for studying in reputable and excellent schools to study.
