Today We're thrilled to announce the Winners and interview with Ahmad Kouti - artist who won Azimoot Competition's 1st Place
1.Tell us a bit about yourself and how did you get involved in the industry.
10-12 years ago we began to practice with 3d applications like 3ds studio max and Maya. In these years we spend lots of time with architectures but we also practice in other 3d fields like characters and other aspects.
2.Tell us about concept and how did you come up with it.
We really love metaphysics.one of our main goal in our real life is trying to gain concentration. For us this idea is not such new. Buddhism and balance of nature and concentration are most famous symbols.
3.Where do you find inspiration?
Such places like cgsociety and search engines and Pinterest are really awesome places for inspiration.
4.How do you learn new techniques and stay updated with
every time new program or new update of other programs that published. We try to take a look at them and see how they manage to solve old problems or old methods. Also Other artist making ofs .

5.Can you share some behind the screen stories, which relates to your submission
At first we try to make a story about down of planet of apes movie. We really finished that submission but we don’t satisfy with that Because our main goal is winning this competition And with that we couldn’t reach to our goal.so we changed our idea to something much attractive like fictions and symbols.
6.What was your biggest challenge in the competition?
The biggest challenge is to put objects according to the camera in their right place until we don’t lose most important subjects.
7.What is your next project?
The next project is modeling Khal Drogo that currently it's done.

8.Where would you see yourself 5 years from now?
We really love to concentrate on real-time shading and lighting and try to simulate real life in real-time in game engine and put our steps on designing ultra-realistic environment and characters.
9.What is your best piece of advice to our readers, young and talented artists?
Despite we are one of young artists, but learning new things and improving our knowledge is more important than practice.
