The latest iteration of its high-volume data management solution for rendering or information processing makes improvements to the Remote Command system, which facilitates the control of Deadline applications on remote machines from the Deadline Monitor. In the latest version, Deadline Pulse can now act as a proxy for Remote Commands, which makes it possible to send Remote Commands across different subnets. In addition, new application support has been added for Altus, Cinebench, Composite 2017, Keyshot, Maya 2017, MicroStation CONNECT, and Redshift Standalone.
During the beta period, bug fixes will continue to be pushed out with the Deadline 8.0 revision releases. But if you want early access to the new features, please join the beta and give us your feedback! Simply contact beta@thinkboxsoftware.com to request beta access. Note that a valid Support and Maintenance contract is required to access the Deadline 8.1 beta.
