Directed by Justin Kurzel (Macbeth), the film stars Michael Fassbender as death row inmate Callum Lynch, who is whisked away to Abstergo and, through a revolutionary technology, enabled to experience the memories of his ancestor Aguilar in 15th Century Spain.
